Hello, I’m Jodie Charles, the face behind the cakes! I have always enjoyed baking and creating, often with the help of my my mom! In 2009 I took a cake decorating class for some mother-daughter bonding time and afterwards put my new skills to work by making cupcakes for a friends’ baby shower. From that Baby Cakes by Jodie was born and I’ve been baking up a storm ever since!
 

Baby Cakes started with custom cupcakes and as my customers needs changed, I branched out into cakes.I love bringing my customers ideas to life, learning new techniques and I don’t back away from a challenge.
 

In February 2018 I moved Baby Cakes to my new home in Spalding, SK. and am enjoying getting my hands (& apron!) dirty in my new kitchen.
